Welcome to my website! I'm a painter and surface pattern designer based in Prescott, Arizona. I believe that visual art is a reflection of the  creator's inner desire to express the inexpressible. My work thematically and visually explores organic and atmospheric forms found in nature. I typically work without plan, allowing imagery to emerge through subtle layers of texture, color and tone, various glazing, painting, mark-making, and mixed media techniques. The strong contrasts of light and dark, hard and soft, and bright and subtle qualities in my work allows the viewer to feel and interpret the work for themselves, hopefully bringing about some emotional experience.  Thank you for viewing my work!
